The Markina Black quarries, along with those of the Deba-Lastur Grey Duquesa, are the only ornamental stone quarries still active within the Basque Autonomous Community. The exceptional quality of the extracted materials, their consistency over time, and the evolution of the mining designs in our quarries have made us regional leaders in our sector. We continue to operate four ornamental quarries (three of Markina Black and one of Grey Duquesa) during challenging times and periods of reinvention.

As specialists in Markina Black, we adapt the type of block to each client's needs in terms of pattern, tone, and quality. Among our materials, we offer various options with more or less white veining, as well as blocks in the renowned deep black tone, alongside lighter grey varieties that provide a spectacular look for certain finishes.
